5G Services Commence at Char Dham Temples by Reliance Jio

Reliance Jio, one of India’s leading telecom operators, announced the launch of its True 5G services at the Char Dham temples in Uttarakhand. The service was inaugurated at Badrinath by the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Chairman Ajendra Ajay on Thursday, as the doors of the temple were opened for devotees.

The service is expected to provide high-speed internet access to all Jio True 5G users visiting Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri dhams, allowing them to experience the full potential of Jio’s 5G network. This new development is set to bring transformational changes in the digital landscape of the state, as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated, “It will allow millions of pilgrims to take advantage of high-speed data network.”

The launch of the 5G service at the Char Dham temples is a significant step towards the expansion of Jio’s 5G services across India. With the government’s recent auction of 5G spectrum bands, the deployment of 5G networks is expected to increase rapidly in the coming months, bringing faster internet speeds, reduced latency, and increased connectivity.
